For travelers in tents or RVs in the Lac-Édouard sector, one bag of logs per night is provided free of charge and included in your stay. If you need extra wood, bags are available next to the log cabin near the kitchen shelter at a cost of $5 each (self-payment in cash in the box on the log cabin or payment by debit/credit card at reception).
Firewood is included in your package for Batiscan Lend-a-Camper travelers and residents of heritage homes.
Fireplaces with spark arrestors are designed for safe use in a high fire-risk environment. Please use extreme caution with fireplaces at all times, never leave a fire unattended, and always keep the spark arrestor in place. You can use dead branches on the ground as kindling, but it is strictly forbidden to cut live trees or strip birch bark. We suggest that you use kindling sensibly, considering the impact of this activity on the environment. Please do not leave any garbage in the fireplace when you leave.
Campers can fill their drinking water tanks at any time at the filling station located near the main parking lot at the entrance to the site.
Tap water in heritage homes is safe to drink.
At the Lac-Édouard campground, a sanitary block comprising two toilets, two sinks (non-potable water), two showers with hot water and a changing table is available to campers at all times. This sector is solar-powered with a gas-fired water heater, and we ask you to notify us of any defects.
The Batiscan sector (ready-to-camp) features a service building with electricity and running water, including two toilets, two showers and a dishwashing station. This building also offers a relaxation and stargazing area on the shores of Lake Florenz Ziegfeld.
Backcountry campsites are equipped with dry toilets and a non-potable water supply. Campers should bring their own drinking water supply for the duration of their stay.
A kitchen including a wood-burning oven, a gas stove, a sink (non-drinking water) and all kitchen accessories is available for private rental to groups of campers at a cost of $50/day, plus a $50 cleaning charge for the duration of your rental.
High-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi access is available free of charge to guests in the guesthouse area. The variable password will be provided on site.
