How to get to SAN

By car

We’re about 4 hours from Montreal, 3 hours from Quebec City, and just over 2 hours from Trois-Rivières. Access is entirely by paved road, well maintained all the way to the SAN.

After leaving the city, you’ll take Highway 155 North, a winding road that follows the valley floor of the majestic Saint-Maurice River. The route offers superb views of the surrounding mountains, with spectacular waterfalls and scenery along the way.

At kilometer 155, turn off at the Curé-Normandin rest area and take the road to Lac-Édouard. This 30-kilometre stretch of road is affectionately known as the “Russian Mountains”… We’ll let you guess why! As you arrive, you’ll pass through the charming village of Lac-Édouard, then catch sight of the old heritage barn and water tower: you’ve arrived at the SAN.
